iOS App Store Purchases
All iOS purchases (subscriptions) are processed through the Apple App Store. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple.
To request a refund for an iOS purchase:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find the CopySafe purchase
- Select "Request a refund" and follow the prompts
Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours.
macOS Purchases (Paddle)
macOS purchases are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We offer a straightforward refund policy:
- 21-day free trial: All Pro subscriptions start with a 21-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges.
- 30-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with CopySafe Pro after purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial payment.
- After 30 days: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We will consider refunds for technical issues that prevent the App from functioning on your system.
How to Request a Refund
For macOS purchases, contact us at support@copysafe.app with:
- Your email address used for the purchase
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
We aim to process all refund requests within 3-5 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time:
- iOS: Manage your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- macOS: Cancel through your Paddle account or contact us at support@copysafe.app
After cancellation, you will retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Free tier. No data is lost when downgrading.
